Electrical installation
5.2.7
Machine connection for replacement of LVS450-1600, if it is necessary to
change between the operating modes with and without restart interlock (e.g.
on filter presses)
Switch the entire machine/system off line!
There is a risk of unintentional starting of the machine and power on the supply cables
while you are connecting the devices.
Electrically isolate the system and all devices affected for the period of the electrical
installation and secure against switch on.
The cable assignment on the original connector must be documented prior to removal of
the connector so the machine can be connected as per the table given below and the
circuit diagram.
On use of the external device monitoring in the LVS450–1600 remove link!
If the external device monitoring on the LVS450–1600 (terminal 6 and 8) is used, then the
jumper on terminal 8 and 9 on X2 in the LCUR1411 must be removed and the cable from
terminal 6 and 8 connected here.
Operating mode 1 is configured with restart interlock using MCC-TDC sampling in
protective operation.
Operating mode 2 is configured without restart interlock using MCC-TDC sampling in
protective operation.
Disconnect the cable between LVS450-1600 and the machine controller
The cores on the terminals 15 and 16 on the LVS450-1600 (ADO) are no longer required
and must be properly insulated
Connect the cable from the machine controller to the terminal strip on the LCUR1411
as per the table given below and the circuit diagram
