The value stored in
OFF ADD
shows the ordinal number of the linked node, the
resource identification of which should be returned. The ordinal number is given in the
following list of all resources.
The result of this "long message" transaction is the resource index (RID) of the resource
requested.
The resources data is described in detail in the resources list (see
8.1.3
Direct access
The defining values of a resource can be read from the DSL encoder by direct access
(see
).
These defining values consist of a readable description of the resource (max. 8 charac‐
ters), the data length, the access rights, a value for time overrun and the data type of
the resource.
The desired value is selected by the user by setting a corresponding offset address.
Please note that for different encoders the time overrun values can be different. There‐
fore it is recommended to check the time overrun values prior to reading. The values
provided in the resources list are only examples.
