
A user file must have been previously created before it can be loaded, written to or read
from.
Before a file can be changed or deleted, the file must be loaded (see

create a file
, the name must be set in the long message buffer. Unallocated charac‐
ters of the file name are set to "00h". If there is a user file with the name given already
present, the procedure to create the file is canceled with an error message. The name
may only consist of printable ASCII characters (20h - 7Eh). The name must be at least
one character long.
