5 Installations and Commissioning
This chapter contains assembly instructions and information of installing the
robot at the job site.It mainly introduces the basic items that should be paid
attention to when installing each component of the robot system.
Installation information mainly includes mechanical installation and
electrical interface installation information.
5.1Mechanical installation
5.1.1 Base installation
The robot is fixed by four M8 bolts through four 8.5mm screw holes on the
base. 20N·m torque is recommended to be used to fix these bolts. If it is
necessary to install the robot with high accuracy, fixing the robot with pins
through Ø6 pin holes on base is a feasible way. The detailed information of
installation holes on base is shown in the following figure.

The robot must be installed on a sturdy surface, the surface should be
sufficient to withstand at least 10 times the complete torsional force of the
base joint and at least 5 times the weight of the robot. In addition, the surface
should not vibrate.If the robot is installed on the linear axis or the movable
platform, the acceleration of the movable installation base should be low.
