Speaker Volume
This setting is used to adjust the on-hook volume, the ringing volume, and the line monitor volume. All
volume settings are initially set to "Middle".

Follow steps 1 through 4 of the initial procedure. (See page 143)

key to select "INITIAL SETTING" and then press the OK key.

Press the

key to select "SPEAKER VOLUME" and then press the OK key.

Press the

key to select the name of the volume you wish to
adjust, and then press the OK key.

Press the

key to select the desired volume level and then press the OK key.
●
"HIGH", "MIDDLE" or "LOW" can be selected for the on-hook volume.
●
"HIGH", "MIDDLE", "LOW" or "OFF" can be selected for the ringer volume.
●
"HIGH", "MIDDLE", "LOW" or "OFF" can be selected for the line monitor volume.
Extension Telephone
Enable this setting when an extension telephone is connected to the machine. An extension telephone
connected to the machine cannot be used until this setting is enabled. The initial setting is enabled.

key to select "EXTENSION TEL" and then press the OK key.

The setting is turned on and a checkmark appears in the checkbox in the message
screen.

If this procedure is performed when the setting is turned on, the checkmark is cleared
and the setting turns off.
Important
●
Do not enable this setting if an extension phone is not connected to the machine. This may
prevent fax reception.
