14. SETTING A CASSETTE FOR COVER SHEET/SHEET-INSERTION COPYING

When two paper sources of the same size are available and you want to make one of them
a cover sheet or sheet-insertion cassette, follow the procedure below.

Setting Procedure

Press the CASSETTE SIZE key.

Press the PROGRAM key to enter the

PROGRAM menu.

Setting the cassette for cover sheet

Select the cassette for cover sheet, then

press the COVER key.

This setting may not be possible for some
copier models.

Setting the cassette for sheet insertion

Select the cassette for sheet insertion, then

press the INSERT key.

Check that "COVER", "INSERT 1" or

"INSERT 2" is shown on the screen.

The screen on the right appears when the
cassette is selected for the cover sheet or
sheet-insertion mode.
