16.1.4 Identification
The serial number of the RTC
®
5-Express board is
printed on a white label attached to the board
(format: “RTC SN…”).
The board’s ID number and configuration are
described in the packaging list (also see
).
16.1.5 Type Identification
The ID number of the RTC
®
5-Express board reveals
the board’s factory-equipped jumper configuration
(
JP1
-
JP8
). The jumper configuration is additionally
encoded in a three-digit type code scheme. The type
code scheme is identical to that of the
RTC
®
5 PC interface board (see
16.1.6 Unpacking Instructions and
Typical Package Contents
Carefully remove the RTC
®
5-Express board from
the package.
Keep the packaging, including the antistatic bag
the RTC
®
5-Express board is delivered in, so that in
case of repair the board can be properly
repackaged and returned to SCANLAB.
Also remove all other articles from the package.
Check that all parts have been delivered. Refer to
the corresponding packaging list.
The package typically includes an RTC
®
5-Express
board and a data CD (containing the corre-
sponding software (see below) and this manual).
Some product versions may also supply
additional components such as data cables or
converters (see
"Optional Accessories", page 576
Delivered Software
The delivered software package is identical to the
RTC
®
5 software package (see
). It contains
software drivers for Microsoft’s WINDOWS 8,
WINDOWS 7, WINDOWS Vista and WINDOWS XP
(SP2 or higher) (32-bit or 64-bit) operating systems,
correction, DLL and program files, as well as utility
