8) With the crankshaft pulley (15) temporarily installated,
measure distance (Y) as follows:
• Measure distance (Y,) between external face of cylinders
block (13) and external face of pulley (15). Measure must
be within the range 107,17 ÷ 108,53 mm.
NOTE:
Measure (Y
1
) must be taken with crankshaft subject to
pressure in two directions: first with crankshaft being
pressed towards the side of flywhel and then with
crankshaft pressed towards the crankshaft pulley side.
Assembly of crankshaft rear and front oil-seals
9) Install crankshaft cover and rear oil-seal assembly (16) and
front (17) too (see 6A-47).
NOTE:
The assembly guide or supporting rim (18) should not
be removed till the oil-seals are coupled to the
crankshaft.
Flywheel installation.
NOTE:
If it is deemed necessary to substitute toothed crown (20)
of flywheel, (see 6A-45).
10) Fit dust - protecting plate located between block and flywheel,
install flywheel (19) on crankshaft flange.
NOTE:
• Before using again the screws of flywheel engine,
measure with a micrometer diameter on thread.
Nowhere diameter should be under 10,8 mm.
Otherwise, replace them.
• Final tightening should be done when adjusting
flywheel in phase.(see 6A-134).
