Device description
The SaneoSPORT Muscle Training device
The SaneoSPORT muscle training device works with two forms
of therapy which have been recognised in medical science for
over 40 years:
EMS
(

TENS
(

EMS
, which
is an extremely effective therapy which is
predominantly applied in rehabilitation, is a method which uses
electrical impulses to address certain muscle groups in a
targeted way. Its areas of deployment include the avoidance of
muscle wastage and the re-establishment and relaxing of
muscles.
Muscle activity is normally triggered by a transmission
command in the brain. A pulse in the form of an electrical signal
is sent to the responsible nerve pathway via the spine. This
pathway supplies the nerve fibres of the muscle, and the pulse
thus ultimately causes the muscle to tension. EMS generates
artificial stimulation of the muscle by means of low-frequency
electrical pulses that stimulate the nerves located beneath the
skin, which in turn activate the corresponding muscle groups.
The muscle is unable to distinguish between an impulse from
the brain or one that comes from outside. As a result, it reacts
to the stimulation in its normal way, tensions and consequently
burns up the energy spent for the activity.
TENS
is used for the effective treatment of acute and chronic
pain. It involves electrical impulses which, depending on the
stimulation frequency, either bring about a distribution of the
body’s own pain-relieving substances or else block
transmission of pain to the brain.
The current which is conducted through the skin into the body
tissues by the electrodes during the massage is medically
effective and represents no health hazard.
Application frequency
Where necessary, you can perform several
applications daily, provided no side effects such as
skin reactions occur.
