Clearing Memory
You can selectively clear information stored in your machine’s memory.
1. Press Setup on the front panel. The display shows the first menu;
DATE & TIME.
2. Press Menu until ‘MEMORY CLEAR ’appears. The display shows
the items you can clear.
3. Press Option until you find the item you want to clear.
• SYSTEM ID : your fax number and name are cleared from
memory.
• SYSTEM DATA : restores all settings to factory default.
• DIAL/SCHEDULE : clears the phonebook numbers, one-touch,
speed dial, or group dial numbers stored in the
memory. Also, all Schedule Job operations
reserved are canceled.
• TX-RX JOURNAL : clears all records of transmissions & receptions.
4. Press Start/Enter. The display asks you to confirm your selection.
5. Press Option repeatedly to select YES, then Start/Enter. The
selected memory is cleared, then the display shows the first item;
SYSTEM ID.
If you do not want to clear the selected item, select NO, then
Start/Enter.
6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 to clear another item.
Or, to exit and return to Standby mode, press Stop.
