Function: UID mappings (upload/download) fig 3.2.3i
This function allows you to upload and download UIDs (users IDs).
With this function you are able to change multiple users ids at one time.
To upload UID:
Locate the configuration file
uid_mappings.csv
(format:
user_name;uid
) by clicking the
Browse
button.
This file should be encoded in UTF-8,
Press "upload" button to import uid mappings,
If there are any errors while importing uids, examine the uid_mappings_import.log file in the log
package.
Warning: current uid mappings will be overwritten.
Press "download" button to download uid_mappings.csv.
Function: Quota for users(upload/download) fig 3.2.3i
This function allows you to upload and download storage limit quotas (users quota). With this function
you are able to change a lot of users’ quota at one time.
To upload quota
In resources menu create share settings (on lv00),
Locate the configuration file
quota_users.csv
(enconding: UTF-8; format:user_name; hard_quota-in
kbytes) by pressing
Browse
Press the button to upload quota configurations for users,
If you encounter errors while uploading quota please read quota_users_import.log file in the log
package [ STATUS>HARDWARE>FUNCTION:Logs]
Warning: current settings will be overwritten.
Press "export" to download quota_users.csv
Then, as an example, by clicking on name e.g. “john”, you will see all available functions helpful for
setting the user:
