Replacing
a Controller Module
5.2.2 Removing the Controller Module
To remove the controller module:
Step 1.
Prepare a clean, static-free work pad or container
to place
the removed controller.
Step 2.
Disconnect all cables
from the controller module. These may
include the Ethernet cable, Fibre Channel host links, and serial
cables connected to the COM ports.
Step 3.
Remove the screws
underneath the ejection levers. (See
Figure 5-1
)

Step 4.
Remove the controller module
by pressing down the two (2)
levers. The controller module will automatically ease out of
the controller module bay. (See
Figure 5-2
)
