18.6. Piasty wielobiegowe
Piasty wielobiegowe są to mechanizmy wewnętrzne pełniące rolę przerzutki w rowerze.
Stosowane są głównie w komfortowych rowerach miejskich i trekkingowych. Piasty wielo-
biegowe są bardzo wygodne w użytkowaniu, trwałe i odporne na zabrudzenia. Sterowanie
pracą przerzutki odbywa się za pomocą manetki umieszczonej z prawej strony kierownicy.
Regulacja piasty 3 biegowej, wymaga ustawienia manetki zmiany biegów w pozycji 2, a na-
stępnie regulatorem, baryłką znajdującą się przy manetce naciągamy linkę tak, aby usta-
wić znacznik między dwoma liniami znajdującymi się z prawej strony piasty tylnej (patrząc
z góry).
Regulacja piasty 7 i 8 biegowej, polega na ustawieniu manetki zmiany biegów w pozycji
4, po czym naciągamy linkę, regulatorem, baryłką znajdującą się przy manetce, tak aby
ustawić w linii dwa znaczniki umiejscowione z prawej strony piasty tylnej (patrząc z góry).
OSTRZEŻENIE
Ze względu na złożoność mechanizmu i skomplikowaną budo-
wę piast wielobiegowych, konserwacji, naprawy i regulacji piast,
winny dokonywać wyłącznie autoryzowane punkty naprawcze.
18.6. Internally geared hubs
The internally geared hubs are the concealed mechanisms that act as a derailleur in the
bike. They are mainly used in comfortable city and trekking bikes. The internally geared hubs
are very comfortable to use, durable and dirt-resistant. The derailleur control is carried out by
means of a shifter placed on the right side of the handlebar.
To adjust the 3-speed hub, set the gear shifter in position 2 and then use the adjuster barrel
at the shifter to pull the cable so as to set the marker between the two lines on the right-hand
side of the rear hub (viewed from above).
To adjust the 7- and 8-speed hub, set the gear shifter in position 4 and then use the adjuster
barrel at the shifter to pull the cable so as to set two markers on the right-hand side of the
rear hub in line (viewed from above).
WARNING
Due to the complexity of the mechanism and the intricate con-
struction of internally geared hubs, have maintenance, repair and
adjustment of hubs carried out only by authorised repair shops.
