Battery Alarm
If no battery alarm has occurred only a ”-” is
shown. If a battery alarm has occurred it also
shows how long time ago it happened, how far in
the test it happened and at what level.

9.6 Resetting an active battery alarm
With an SMS according to Picture 4 below it is possible to reset an active battery alarm with-
out pressing the switch S1. Note that this is exactly the same thing as pressing S1 on site.
The recharge cycle will be restarted which means that a forced charged of the battery is
started follow by a rest and then an ordinary battery test is done.

9.7 Checking the alarm log
The log gives information about how long time has elapsed since an alarm attempt from the
lift car alarm button was made. The alarm attempts are logged independent if the alarm call
was acknowledged by the alarm central or not, or if the GSM coverage was bad. The 10 latest
alarms are saved in the log and the log will tell if the alarm was acknowledged and how many
attempts that were needed. Every time the lift phone is restarted the log is erased. The log is
accessed by sending an SMS to the lift phone. See Picture 5 below for a SMS question and
a typical reply.
