Programming
All programming is done with the keypad on the back of the speech unit. For practical and
ergonomically reasons it is recommended that all programming is done at (e.g. at a desk) be-
fore the EC II GSM SE is mounted in the lift. The EC II GSM SE can also be programmed
remotely via SMS. See section 9 below for more information.
All programming which is done in the EC II GSM SE is stored in the SIM card and will remain
in the EC II GSM SE even after it has been disconnected from power. This means that if you
change the EC II GSM SE at, for example, a repair, no new programming is needed, apart
from the PIN code as long as the same SIM card as before is used.
The keys on the keyboard of the speech unit have the following functionality:
Programming – Starts and end of an all programming sequences.
Sequence receiver – Used when programming more than 2 alarm receivers.
Alarm receiver 1 – Phone number to alarm receiver 1
Alarm receiver 2 – Phone number to alarm receiver 2
Alarm code 1 – Used for alarm receiver 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6
Alarm code 2 – Used for alarm receiver 2
Each time a key is pressed in programming mode a short tone is heard and after
each programming sequence, there is a 4-tone for a successful programming and
a 1-tone for an unsuccessful programming
