The active alarm mode can only be disabled by the phone, which receives the lift alarm, or
from the phone, which calls to EC II GSM SE. See section 10 or 11 below for more informa-
tion.

An active alarm mode is indicated by light signals both in speech unit and in central unit. The
active alarm mode is automatically disconnected after 6 hours but will be extended up to 6
hours if a new speech connecting alarm is made or if a call is made to EC II GSM SE during
this interval.
8.4.5 Battery alarm receiver

. alarm receiver is used as battery alarm receiver together with alarm
code 1. It is possible to send all battery alarms to a dedicated battery alarm receiver with

Test the battery alarm receiver function in programming mode by enter:
After completed programming mode the EC II GSM SE immediately call the battery alarm re-
ceiver. This test alarm is a speech connecting alarm.
Push following sequence to stop sending battery alarms to a dedicated battery alarm receiver.
8.4.6 Simple phone acknowledgement
When the EC II GSM SE sends an alarm to a phone or a mobile an acknowledgement must
be made on the receiving phone. If there is no acknowledgement, EC II GSM SE will call the
next programmed alarm receiver after thirty seconds. See section 10.2 below.
Simple phone acknowledgement means that alarm receiver can push on any of the buttons 0-
9 to acknowledge the call. Disconnection of call is made by pushing the button
or by re-
placing the receiver. The call is extended 180 seconds with any of the buttons 0-9. Manual
