Select this mode to make images brighter. In this mode, the following settings are automatically
specified:
• Lamp Power: [Maximum]
• Lamp Pwr on No Signal: [Std.]
• Image Eco: [Off]
For details about [Lamp Power], [Lamp Pwr on No Signal], and [Image Eco], see page 84 "Energy
Saving Settings Menu".
1.
Press the [Eco] button.
2.
In [Eco Mode], select [On (Auto)], [On (Detailed)], or [Off].
3.
If you selected [On (Detailed)] in Step 2, specify [Lamp Power], [Lamp Pwr on No
Signal], and [Image Eco] manually.
4.
Press the [Eco] button.
• You can also change the lamp settings with [Energy Saving Settings]. For details, see page 84
"Energy Saving Settings Menu".
• The image may flicker, depending on the characteristics of the lamp, when the power is cut by the
Eco Mode. If this happens, disable the Eco Mode.
Using the Presentation Timer
Displays the timer on the projection screen. This function is useful for time management when you are
giving a presentation.
1.
Press the [Timer] button.
2.
Specify the time period from 1 to 99 minutes using the number buttons.
You can also use the [ ] and [ ] buttons to specify the time period.
3.
Select [Start (Small Size)] or [Start (Large Size)], and then press the [Enter] button.
You can use two types of timer.
• Small size: A small timer is displayed in the lower right corner of the projection screen.
• Large size: A large timer is displayed in the center of the projection screen.
To stop the countdown, press the [Timer] button.
