SP 2963 - Initialization

SP 2963: Initializes the following items
z
Developer, Toner supply mechanism, Process control settings
„
Do it immediately after installation, before making test copies.
„
Open the front door. Then switch the machine on.
„
Then go into the SP mode. Then close the front door.
„
Then do SP 2963.
z
SP 2963 must be done before the first auto process control. If
you open the front door before you turn the machine power on,
auto process control will not start at this time.
z
This SP is only used during installation.
z
During SP 2963, you must input the lot number that is written on
the developer packet.
„
When adding new developer in a machine already installed,
use SP 2801.
z
Do not use 2801 at installation.

After the power is switched on, auto process control is done. In a new machine, if
SP2963 is not done first, auto process control will not initialize the machine
correctly. So it is important to open the door before you start to do SP 2963.
