Operation
Notes for Operation
❐
First, you must perform shading to get the projector to register the condition of the film. This way, the projector can
adjust the light intensity automatically while copying.
❐
If you press the Clear Modes key or Cancel key while using Projector function, all operations with the Projector will
be canceled.
❐
You can adjust the color tone and color density manually.
❐
This projector has an automatic focus function, but if you use the glass mount film holder, adjust the focus manually.
❐
Do not forget to turn off the power switch of the projector when you are not using it.
❐
Do not obstruct the light path from the projector. If the light path is obstructed, the image might not match the original.
❐
This shading adjustment is very sensitive, so after the shading operation the mirror unit must be left perfectly still. Do
not move it or allow vibrations to interfere with it. If this happens during copying, lines might appear on the copy. In that
case, you must perform shading again.
❐
If you need to open and close the doors (to clear a jam or add toner), we recommend that you perform shading again
afterwards.
❐
Avoid multi-wiring.
