«Время приготовления» (“Cooking time”) — used to set time (hours /minutes):

6.
«Варка» (“Cook”): used to choose the subprogram by product kind in «ВАРКА»
(“COOKING”) program. Press «ВАРКА» repeatedly until the desired subpro

gram is chosen («РИС/КРУПА» — rice/grain, «ПЛОВ» — pilaf, «МОЛОЧНАЯ
КАША» — milk porridge).
7.
«Вид продукта» (“Product”): used to choose the subprogram by product
kind (“ОВОЩИ» — vegetables, «МЯСО» — meat, «РЫБА» — fish) in «ПАР»
(“STEAM”), «ЖАРКА» (“FRY”) and «ТУШЕНИЕ» (“STEW”) programs. Press
«Вид продукта» button repeatedly until the desired subprogram is chosen.
The button is designed to accommodate the visually impaired.
8.
«t°С/Автоподогрев вкл/выкл» (“Keep Warm On/Off”): changes the cooking
temperature in «МУЛЬТИПОВАР» (“MULTICOOK)” and manually switches
the keep warm function off.
9.
«Старт» (“Start”): starts the chosen cooking program and switches on «ВАРКА
– РИС/КРУПА» (“COOKING — RICE/GRAIN”) subprogram.

I. PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Carefully unpack the device, remove all packaging materials and stickers except
the one with the unit’s serial number. The absence of the serial number will
deprive you of your warranty benefits. Wipe all interior and exterior surfaces of
the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Wash the bowl with warm soapy water. Rinse
and dry thoroughly. Odor on first use of the appli ance is normal. In such case,
clean the device.
Caution! Do not use the appliance in case of any malfunctions.
II. OPERATION
Place the device on a flat, stable and hard surface away from any objects or
cabinets that could be damaged by steam, humidity or high temperatures. Before
operating, make sure that the outer and inner parts of the multicooker have no
dents, cracks or any other visible damages. There should not be any obstructions
between the heating element and the bowl.
Setting the clock
1.
Plug in the device. Hold the “Отложенный старт” button until the minute
indicator will flash.
2.
Press “Время приготовления” button to set the minutes. The setting inter
-
val is 1 minute. Hold button down to scroll through the digits. After setting,
press “Установка времени” button. The hour indicator will flash.
3.
Press “Время приготовления” button to change the hour. The setting inter
-
val is 1 hour. Hold button down to scroll through the digits.
4.
When the time is set, press “t°С/Подогрев/Отмена” button or wait for a few
seconds. The flashing will stop and your settings will be saved.
5. In case you need to change time settings repeat the procedure, starting
from step 1.
Setting the cooking time
Multicooker REDMOND RMC-M70 has an option to manually change cooking time,
set by default for each program. Setting interval and range of the cooking time
settings depend on the program of cooking chosen. To set:
1.
Press “Меню” button to choose automatic cooking program. Press “Установка
времени” button to make the minute indicator flash. Press «Время
приготовления» button repeatedly to change the minute setting. Hold the
button down for approximately 3 seconds to scroll through the digits.
2.
Press “Установка времени” button and the hour indicator will flash. Press
“Время приготовления” button repeatedly to change the hour settings. Hold
the button down for approximately 3 seconds to scroll through the digits.
3.
If you need to set the cooking time of less than 1 hour press “Время
приготовления” button repeatedly in the time setting mode until the hour
indicator is no longer displayed. Press “Установка времени” button and the
minute indicator will flash. Press “Время приготовления” button repeat
-
edly to set the minutes.
4.
To cancel previous settings press “Подогрев/Отмена” and enter new settings
for the program.
If you change the automatic program manually device immediately exposes the
minimum cooking time.
REDMOND RMC-M70 features a non-volatile memory which means your settings
(including preset) will not be lost in case of power cut-off for up to 10 minutes.
Preset function
This function allows setting cooking program by certain time of the day. Cooking
time may be delayed for a period from 10 minutes to 24 hours with 10 minute
setting intervals. There are 2 independent timers, featuring the most frequent
cooking times setting recall function.
Setting the timer
To start cooking with a delay, set multicooker to finish cooking at a specific time
(up to 24 hours). To set:
1.
Press “Меню” button to choose automatic program.
2.
Press “Установка времени” and “Время приготовления” buttons to set the
cooking time of a program or keep the default setting.
3.
Press “Отложенный старт” button to choose “ТАЙМЕР 1” or “ТАЙМЕР 2”.
4.
Press “Установка времени” button to switch to time setting mode of a
timer, the time indicator will flash.
5.
Press “Время приготовления” button to set hours. Setting interval is 1 hour.
6.
Press “Установка времени” button. The minute indicator will flash.
7.
Press “Время приготовления” button to set minutes. Setting interval is 10
minutes.
8.
When the time is set, press “Старт” button. Indicators of “Старт”, “Подогрев/
Отмена” and “Отложенный старт” buttons will glow. Your current time selec
-
tion will be displayed.
9. Once cooking time has expired, the device will automatically switch to keep
warm function off.
“Отложенный старт” function is available for all programs except “ЖАРКА” and
“ПАСТА”.
Using preset function remember that in some programs countdown only starts
when the set temperature has been reached. An option to manually switch keep
warm function off is available.
Keep warm function
Function is being switched on automatically by choosing one of the cooking
programs. Once the program is finished, the temperature of the meal (70-75°C)
is being maintained for a period of 24 hours. “Подогрев/Отмена” button glows
telling you that the function is on; keep warm countdown is displayed.
Preliminary disable keep warm function
The keep warm function is not suitable for preparing meals like yogurt or dough.
This function may be cancelled right after the set program starts. Once you have
chosen the cooking program (pressed “Старт” button) hold the “Подогрев/Отмена”
button for at least 3 seconds. “Подогрев/Отмена” button will stop glowing indi
-
cating that keep warm function has been switched off. By repeatedly pressing
and holding “t°С/Автоподогрев вкл/выкл” button for 3 seconds, you may switch
the function back on. “Подогрев/Отмена” indicator will again start glowing.
This function is also available in preset function.
Reheat function
REDMOND RMC-M70 can be used for heating up cold meals. Simply place the
bowl with the meal into the device, close the lid and press “Подогрев/Отмена”
button. The meal will be warmed up to 70-75°C and will stay warm for next 24
hours. Switch the reheat function off by pressing “Подогрев/Отмена” button twice.
Standard operating procedures for automatic cooking programs
1. Measure the necessary ingredients.
2. Put them into the bowl and insert it inside the device. Make sure that all
ingredients, including liquid, were below the maximum mark on the inner
surface of the bowl. Make sure the bowl is installed without warps and is
in contact with the heating element.
3. Close the lid until it clicks into place. Plug in the unit.
4.
Press “Меню» button, select the desired cooking program (display indicator
will light up the program).
5. If the program allows you to choose the type of product (such as meals),
select the appropriate routine by pressing the “Вид продукта» (for programs
«ПАР», «ЖАРКА», «ТУШЕНИЕ») or «Варка» (for the program « ВАРКА»). For
each subprogram own set cooking time by default, which is displayed on
the display device.
6. If you do not like the cooking time, the default, you can change this value.
The device remembers the last time you changed cooking in the selected
program and displays it on the display. To return to the factory settings
before selecting the program, press and hold the “Установка времени» for
about 3 seconds until a beep sounds.

If necessary, set a delayed start. Preset function is not available for “ЖАРКА»
and «ПАСТА» programs.
8.
To start the cooking program, click “Старт» to light up the button «Старт»
and “Подогрев/Отмена” button. Begin implementation of the program and
set the cooking time countdown.
The program “ПАР” countdowns begins after boiling water and achieve a sufficient
density of steam in the bowl, in the program “ЖАРКА” and “МУЛЬТИПОВАР” -
after reaching the set temperature heating and bowl in the “ПАСТА” — after
boiling water in a bowl, bookmarks products and pressing the “Start” button.
9. If necessary, you can disable keep warm function in advance.
10. On completion of the program will notify you cooking beep. Further, depend-
ing on the selected program or the current settings, the device switches to
keep warm mode (button light “Подогрев/Отмена”) or in standby mode (the
indicator blinks “Старт» button).
11. To cancel the inputted program, interrupt the cooking process or keep warm
mode, click the “Подогрев/Отмена” button.
“Мультиповар” program
This program is designed for cooking on user-specified parameters of temperature
and cooking time. Through the program «МУЛЬТИПОВАР» multicooker REDMOND
RMC-M70 will replace a number of kitchen appliances and allow to cook almost any
dish you are interested in the recipe, read in an old cookbook or from the internet.
