Setting

Static

Address

By default the switch will use the DHCP protocol for IP address assignment. The switch may also be configured to
use a static IP address.

Command:

admin ip set

Description:

Moves the CLI to the IP address settings immediate mode. Typing “?” will provide the command

options available here.

Once in the IP immediate mode, it is easy to change the address configuration. Once set, the new configuration
must be saved for this change to be retained after a reboot.

Performing

File

Transfer

File transfers can be initiated through the CLI by using TFTP Protocol.

Command:

fileTransfer

tftp server <ip address> transferType <UpgradeSystem, UpgradeBootLoader, ImportConfig,

ExportSavedConfig, ExportEventLog> [file <string>]

Description:

Initiates the file transfer from the CLI.
