Adjusting the drop point
Adjusting the drop point serves to adapt to various different spreading materials
and spreading patterns.
The drop point is adjusted using the letter scale on the scale plate. The operator
moves the end stop to the position determined beforehand in the spreading table.
Adjustment in the direction of letter
A
: Focus of the spreading pattern moves
to the left (looking in the direction of travel).
Adjustment in the direction of letter
M
: Focus of the spreading pattern moves
to the right (looking in the direction of travel).
Figure 7.3:
Adjustment centre for drop point
1.
Determine the position for the drop point in the fertiliser chart.
2.
Hold the left and right-handle. Press the pointer unit.
The lock is released. The adjustment centre can be moved.
3.
Move the adjustment centre with the pointer unit to the calculated position.
4.
Release the pointer unit.
The adjustment centre is locked.
5.
Make sure that the adjustment centre is locked.
NOTICE
As a reference point, use the positions that have been determined by RAUCH
for various types of spreading material to produce a symmetric spreading pat-
tern:
E
; Salt: Position
F
; Sand: Position
J
