Implementation:
1.
Install the agitator specified in the calibration table for the specific spreading
material. See
7.7: Using the fertiliser chart, page 55
.
2.
Fill the hopper.
3.
Lay a sheet or place a container under the spreader for collecting the spread-
ing material.
4.
Set the adjusting lever of the spreading width limiter to the bottom stop (min-
imum spreading width).
5.
Adjust the drop point to the position indicated in the spreader chart for the
specific material.
6.
Set the one-sided discharge slider to the position indicated in the spreader
chart for the specific material.
7.
Set the metering slider end stop to the value specified in the spreader chart.
8.
Start the tractor engine and engage the drive of the single-disc spreader.
9.
Open the metering slider for the stipulated calibration test time (e.g. 60 sec-
onds). Close the metering slider after this time.
10.
Switch off the tractor engine and disengage the drive of the single-disc
spreader. Remove the ignition key.
11.
Determine the weight of spreading material.
12.
Compare the discharged amount with the nominal amount.
Discharged amount = nominal amount: Discharge rate is adjusted cor-
rectly.
End calibration test.
Discharged amount < nominal amount: Adjust metering slider to a high-
er position and repeat test.
Discharged amount > nominal amount: Adjust metering slider to a lower
position and repeat test.

WARNING
Risk of injury by rotating machine components.
Contact with rotating machine components (universal drive shaft,
spreading disc, and agitator) may cause bruises, abrasions. and
crushing injuries. Body parts or objects may be caught and pulled in.
Keep clear of the rotating hubs while the machine is run-
ning.
Direct all persons out of the danger zone of the spreader
before running the calibration test.
