Adjusting the spreading width limiter
The spreading width limiter permits different spreading widths of approx.
0.8 to
8 m
to be adjusted for a mounting height of
approx. 55 cm
(see “Determining the
mounting height”,
page 30
).
Depending on the equipment of your spreader, the spreading width limiter can be
supplied in 3 versions.
NOTICE
If adjusting the drop point is not sufficient for obtaining a symmetric spreading
pattern, the vanes on the spreading disc can also be adjusted.

Characteristics
Mechanical, left and right separately
adjustable.
Permits symmetric and asymmetric
spreading patterns
Electrical, with an actuator motor on the
right-hand side. A coupling rod connects
both sides (option).
Permits changing the symmetric
spreading pattern while spreading.
Electrical, with separate actuator motors
on left and right (option).
Permits changeover from a symmetric
to an asymmetric spreading pattern
while spreading.
NOTICE
Check the spreading width limiter for damage. Damaged or bent elements of the
limiter will have an effect on the spreading pattern.
