SECTION 12: INLET HOOD
Inlet hoods are shipped u nassembled and m u st be assembled prior to installation. The inlet hood may be
installed either onto the inlet of the air handler or to an o u tside w all. After installing an inlet hood, all hard w are
m u st be torq u ed according to recommended specifications on Page 9, Table 1 . In addition, all seams m u st
be ca u lked (pro v ided by others).
Part n u mbers ending w ith a "[W]" indicate that the part can be ordered w ith either an u npainted gal v anized
finish or an acrylic modified alkyd enamel finish. To order w ith a gal v anized finish, do not incl u de a "W" at the
end of the part n u mber; to order w ith a painted finish, incl u de a "W" at the end of the part n u mber.
NOTE: Check to be s u re that all req u ired components are present. If any are missing, contact yo u r RAPID ®
