VARIABLE CYLINDER SPEED (C Fig.11)
The variable cylinder speed control is situated on the
left hand tank cover next to the operator.
The speed of rotation of the cutting cylinders is
adjustable by means of the handwheel. Rotate the
hand wheel clockwise to decrease cylinder speed,
anticlockwise to increase cylinder speed.

UNIT COUNTERBALANCE CONTROL (Fig.12)
The unit counterbalance control is situated on the
right hand tank cover next to the operator.
Cutting unit ground pressure can be varied within
preset limits and is controlled by the handwheel.
The handwheel is turned clockwise to reduce the
ground weight of the cutting unit and to improve
slope climbing performance.
The handwheel is turned anticlockwise to increase
ground weight of the cutting unit and this setting will
reduce the possibility of cutting unit "bounce" when
working at high speed on undulating ground. The
normal position for this control is midway between
the minimum and maximum settings.
