network traffic are:

Replication traffic
- This segment is be used exclusively for
replication data movement
•
Management traffic
- This segment is be used exclusively for
DXi4500 remote management (Web page access)
•
Data
traffic
- This segment is used exclusively for NAS data
movement
Each network segment has its own network interface (IP address,
network mask, and default gateway). In this way, the segment is
separated from other network segment traffic.

Using Round Robin (Mode 0) With a Dell or CISCO Switch
If you are using the
Round Robin (Mode 0)
option and you have a Dell
or CISCO switch, then the ports that connect to the DXi4500 must be
bonded.
For example, specify the following settings from the switch CLI:
•
Interface Ethernet
- If both ports connect to the same switch, set
to 1/g

is the port number. If there two or more switches,
replace “1” with the correct ID number (2 or 3).

Switchport mode
- Set to
trunk

Channel-group 1 mode
