Diagnostics and System Data

Access to Diagnostics Data allows you to find the root cause of a system error or a
breakdown that may occur during the life of your system.
To retrieve this data, your system will perform a variety of tests to diagnose a problem and
generate a corresponding report.
Running Diagnostics Data and generating system reports should only be performed by a
certified Neopost Service Technician.
Diagnostics
In order to gain access to all of your Diagnostic Data, you must first log into the system as
the Supervisor.

Sends a message to a server (if connected) to check
the connection.
Ping Server

Reports the status ([0] or [1]) of the sensors below:
Mail inserted Sensor.

Base Sensors Status

The screen displays, successively, a black bar with-
out text, then text.
Display
Displays “Key Ok” if there are no issues with your
Keypad .
Keypad
Checks the connectivity of both USB Ports (need
USB keys to complete this test).
USB Ports
Checks the connectivity of your Serial Port.
Serial Connectors
Checks the status of your Modem.
Modem Self Test
Checks your LAN Address.
Ping Tool
Checks the status of your LAN connection.
