7-5 Troubleshooting
Idle
No jobs are in progress.
Inner jam
Media has jammed. Remove the jam
(see “Media Jams” on page 7-15).
IP err 0 cancel
The Internet address is incorrectly set.
use the Intlernet address menu to set it
correctly (see chapter 3, “Control Panel).
x Meg ver x.x
This indicates the amount of memory
installed in the printer and the system
software version. It displays immediately
after
QMS 2060 WX test
during
printer startup.
Misfeed jam
Media has jammed leaving the media
cassette. Remove the jam (see “Media
Jams” on page 7-15).
Need more memory
Paper mismatch
More memory is needed to print the job,
and the media in the default media
cassette is different from that chosen in
the printer driver.
» Note: Due to the lack of sufficient
memory, parts of the image may be
clipped off.
Need new kernel
The kernel is damaged. Download the
system software again (see “Updating
System Software” in chapter 4, “Printer
Options”).
New kernel...
The kernel is being downloaded during
the system software downloading
process.
Outer jam
Media has jammed leaving the paper
exit unit. Remove the jam (see “Media
Jams” on page 7-15).
