The Pegasus3 architecture is based on a state-of-the-art PMC Sierra 8067
I/O processor coupled with 1G of DDR3-1866 SDRAM memory and a world class enterprise-proven
RAID engine.

Pegasus3 supports Thunderbolt 3™ technology, providing two channels with 40 Gb/s of throughput
in both directions simultaneously. Thunderbolt 3 is NOT COMPATIBLE with the previous versions of
Thunderbolt (i.e. Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt 2).
Thunderbolt 3 supports daisy-chaining up to six (6) high-speed peripheral devices, including external
disks, video capture devices, and a Mini DisplayPort monitor.
Pegasus3 has two Thunderbolt ports, as required for daisy-chaining.
