Autofocus Board Removal
1. Remove the top cover.
2. Remove the edit board.
3. Disconnect the autofocus board to shutter board cable at the shutter board (Figure 5-16).

4. Disconnect the viewfinder fiber optics cable from the autofocus board connector.
Caution
Use extreme care when disconnecting the viewfinder fiber optics
cable from the autofocus board. The cable is extremely fragile and if
damaged, the entire top cover with viewfinder must be replaced.
5. Remove the two Phillips pan-head screws that secure the board to the top cover.
6. Remove the autofocus board with the two attached rubber buttons from the top cover.
Autofocus Board Installation
To install the autofocus board, reverse the removal procedure.
Note: Be very careful when connecting the fragile fiber optics cable to avoid damaging it.
