PDC 2000/3000 Repair Manual

Parts Replacement

Top Cover Removal

1. Turn the camera power off and remove the battery tray

2. Remove the lens assembly.

3. Remove the eyecup retainer and the eyecup from the viewfinder assembly (Figure 5-2).

4. Open the rubber SCSI connector door and remove the two screws from inside the

compartment.

5. Turn the camera over and remove the four remaining screws which secure the top cover to

the camera chassis assembly:

•

two from the battery tray area, and

•

two from either side of the lens housing

6. Holding the top and bottom halves together, turn the camera right-side-up on the work surface.
