Power and SCSI Overmold Removal
1. Remove the top cover.
2. Remove the front end board.
3. Remove the power button board.
4. Remove the back end board and hard drive.
5. Firmly grasp and pull the overmold free of the chassis.
Power and SCSI Overmold Installation
Note:
There are two styles of overmolds used with the PDC-2000 Digital Camera
(Figure 5- 11). The most common style is a one piece type; others have a retainer
pressed into the overmold. If you are replacing the latter type, first press the retainer
firmly into the rubber overmold and then follow the instructions below to complete the
installation of the overmold into the camera.
1. Align the four overmold rubber bosses into the openings in the chassis (Figure 5-11).

2. Using needle-nose pliers, carefully, pull each boss toward the center of the camera, until the
convex portion of the boss is pulled through the hole and snaps in place inside the chassis.
