Parts Replacement
Front Panel and Optics Assembly (Figure 2-4)
Removal
1. Remove the bottom extrusion.
2. Remove the two (2) screws securing the front panel to the top extrusion.
3. Gently pull off the front panel and optics assembly from the top extrusion.
Note: Be careful not to:
• break or damage the shutter or CCD imager flex
• scratch the front panel
• scratch or dirty the anti-alias optical filter
4. Using tweezers or a small jewelers flat screw driver, unclamp shutter flex connector J5
and CCD imager flex connector J1 from on the front end PC board.
5. Gently disconnect the shutter and the CCD imager flex.
