2.2.14 Apply Corrosion preventive CA1000 (Pt.No. P04-039) Figure 3 [37] to the shaft and under the head of
the bolt Figure 3 [27].

Make sure that the threads of the bolt

are clean and free from

CA1000 (Pt.No. P04-039) .
2.2.15 Apply Grease (Pt.No. P04-028) Figure 3 [38] to the threads of the bolt Figure 3 [27].
2.2.16 Install the washer Figure 3 [28] and the bolt Figure 3 [27].
2.2.17 Measure the run-down torque of the bolt Figure 3 [27].
2.2.18 Torque the bolt Figure 3 [27] to between 522 and 602 lb in. (59 and 68 Nm) plus the run-down torque
measured in Step 2.2.17.
2.2.19 Safety the bolt Figure 3 [27] with Lockwire (Pt.No. P02-001).
2.2.20 Install the landing light, refer to AMM 12-B-33-41-01-00A-920B-A.
2.2.21 Put the weight-on switch Figure 2 [9] in position the bracket Figure 2 [8] and make sure the adjustment
position is the same you noted in the removal procedure.
2.2.22 Install the nut Figure 2 [7] on the weight-on switch Figure 2 [9].
2.2.23 Safety the nut Figure 2 [7] with Lockwire (Pt.No. P02-001).
2.2.24 Connect the brake pressure pipe Figure 2 [6] to the MLG.
2.2.24.1 Remove the blanking caps from the connections of the brake pressure pipe Figure 2 [6] and the elbow
Figure 2 [5].
2.2.24.2 Connect the brake pressure pipe Figure 2 [6] to the elbow connection Figure 2 [5].
2.2.24.3 Put the clamps Figure 2 [3] in position on the brake pressure pipe Figure 2 [6].
2.2.24.4 Align the clamps Figure 2 [3] with the bracket Figure 2 [4] and install the washers Figure 2 [2] and the
screws Figure 2 [1].
2.2.25 If removed, install the shock absorber, refer to AMM 12-B-32-10-03-00A-920B-A.
2.2.26 Apply Corrosion preventive Ardrox AV40 (Pt.No. P10-013) to the tapered shaft area of the bolt
Figure 3 [14].
2.2.27 Apply Corrosion preventive CA1000 (Pt.No. P04-039) to the parallel shaft areas and under the head of
the bolt Figure 3 [14].

Make sure that the threads of the bolt Figure 3 [14] are clean and free from Corrosion preventive
CA1000 (Pt.No. P04-039) .
2.2.28 Align the folding strut assembly Figure 3 [15] with the MLG leg Figure 3 [16] and install the bolt
Figure 3 [14].
2.2.29 Install the washer Figure 3 [17] and the nut Figure 3 [18].
2.2.30 Measure the run-down torque of the nut Figure 3 [18].
2.2.31 Set the torque wrench to 2100 lb in. (235 Nm) plus the run-down torque measured in Step 2.2.30.
Torque tighten the nut Figure 3 [18].
