Procedure

General
The aircraft can be temporarily parked in a hangar or outside in low wind speeds. If the aircraft is
outside and the wind speeds are high, moor the aircraft, refer to AMM 12-B-10-20-00-00A-901A-A.
If the aircraft is not to be used for a long time, do the storage of the aircraft, refer to AMM 12-B-10-10-
01-00A-901A-A.

Parking - Maintenance Practices
Note
Two versions of cover sets are available. The original version supplied with the aircraft is shown in
. The alternative version is shown in

Before you install or remove covers/pins, make sure that they are serviceable and complete.
Note
If the aircraft is parked in sunlight, the
Sun screens (Optional) (Pt.No. T10-005)
can be put in position
behind the flight compartment windows to protect the interior from heat and UV damage.
2.1
Put the aircraft on a level surface. If the aircraft is not in a hangar, point the aircraft into the usual wind
direction, refer to AMM 12-B-09-10-00-00A-901A-A.
2.2
Put the parking brake to ON.
2.3
Put the Wheel chocks (Pt.No. T10-010) at the front and the rear of the nose wheel and each main
wheel.
2.4
If the aircraft is parked outside and heavy snowfall is expected, install the Hand towbar/Tail
stand Figure 1 [11] (Figure 2 [9]) to support the rear fuselage.
Note
The towbar/tail stand is stowed in the rear fuselage of the aircraft.
2.5
Ground the aircraft.
2.6
Close the DV window, the passenger/crew door and the cargo door.
Note
Keep the DV window open if the aircraft is parked in a hangar.
2.7
Make sure that all access panels are correctly installed and closed.
2.8
For aircraft with the original cover set delivered with the aircraft, install them as follows:

Propeller restraint assembly Figure 1 [6]
−
Install the Lock pin emergency exit Figure 1 [9] in the inner handle of the emergency exit
Figure 1 [10].
