2.8.7 CAUTION
DO NOT APPLY CORROSION PREVENTIVE TO THE BEARING AND RAM.
Use CPC (Pt.No. P10-013) to protect the stabilizer trim actuator upper attachment and fasteners.
2.9 Remove the sling from the stabilizer Figure 1 [1].
2.10 Connect the control rod Figure 1 [24] to the lever Figure 1 [22] with the bolt Figure 1 [23], washer
Figure 1 [25] and nut Figure 1 [26].
2.11 Install the bonding lead Figure 1 [13] on the stabilizer Figure 1 [1] with the bolt Figure 1 [15] and
washer Figure 1 [14].
2.12 Connect the de-icing tube Figure 1 [8] to the pipe Figure 1 [12] and tighten the clamp Figure 1 [7].
2.13 Connect the clamp Figure 1 [9] to the stabilizer Figure 1 [1] with the distance bush Figure 1 [27], screw
Figure 1 [10] and washer Figure 1 [11].
2.14 Attach the electrical cable Figure 1 [21] to the stabilizer Figure 1 [1] with a Cable tie (Pt.No. P09-005).
2.15 If necessary, install the elevators, refer to AMM 12-B-55-20-01-00A-920A-A.
3 Close Up
3.1 Remove the safety clips and close these circuit breakers:
− PITCH TRIM (ESSENTIAL BUS)
− PITCH TRIM ALTN (MAIN BUS)
− BOOTS DE-ICE (MAIN BUS).
3.2 Remove the warning sign from the flight compartment.
3.3 Do the adjustment/test of the horizontal stabilizer trim system, refer to AMM 12-B-27-40-00-00A-903A-
A.
3.4 Do the adjustment/test of the airfoil de-ice system, refer to AMM 12-B-30-10-00-00A-903A-A or 12-B-
30-10-00-00A-903B-A.
3.5 Do the installation of the trim marks procedure, refer to AMM 12-B-11-20-02-00A-901A-A, when the
stabilizer has been replaced or the surface finish has been repaired.
3.6 Open and install safety clips on these circuit breakers:
− PITCH TRIM (ESSENTIAL BUS)
− PITCH TRIM ALTN (MAIN BUS).
3.7 Remove all the equipment, tools and materials from the work area. Make sure that the work area is
clean.
3.8 Install the access panels 32BT, 32CT, 33DT (upper and lower), 33ET and 34DT (upper and lower).
3.9 Remove the safety clips and close these circuit breakers:
− PITCH TRIM (ESSENTIAL BUS)
− PITCH TRIM ALTN (MAIN BUS).
