Appendix A. First-time installation
WARNING:
Philips-authorized personnel must install the ventilator. For information
about installation, contact your Philips representative.
Before putting the ventilator into service for the first time, install it as
described in this chapter.
Unpacking and
inspection
Unpack the ventilator and inspect it for damage. Inspect the exterior cabinet of
the ventilator for cracks, scratches, or blemishes. Inspect the front panel for
scratches or abrasions. Correct and/or report any problems found to Philips
before using the ventilator.
Before using the ventilator the first time, we recommend wiping the exterior
clean and disinfecting components according to the instructions in Chapter 10.
