The Caliper IVIS
®
Spectrum Imaging Instrument contains a Class 3R Laser module.
The instrument itself is classified as a Class 1 device because the user is safely
protected from the laser beam. The potential hazard of exposure to service
personnel is clearly indicated with a warning label per IEC 60825 and CDRH
requirements.
Read manual label
Where located on the IVIS system, the read manual label indicates that important
information about the labeled area can be found in the IVIS Spectrum Hardware
Manual.
Pinch hazard label
Where located on the IVIS system, the pinch hazard label indicates the location of
a potential pinch point.
