On the Basic Switch Configuration Menu, pressing "I" opens the System IP
Configuration Menu, as shown in Fig. 4-6-3. On this screen, you can set
IP-address-related settings for this Switching Hub.

Screen Description
MAC
Address:
Displays the MAC address of this Switching Hub. This value is uniquely
assigned to each device and cannot be changed.
IP Address:
Displays the current IP address. 0.0.0.0 is factory default setting.
Subnet
Mask:
Displays the current subnet mask. 0.0.0.0 is factory default setting.
Default
Gateway:
Displays the IP address of the router, set as a current default gateway.
0.0.0.0 is factory default setting.
DHCP Mode: Displays the DHCP mode. If enabled, the Switching Hub requests an IP
address to the DHCP server. 'Disabled' is the factory default setting.
Enabled:
Requests an IP address from the DHCP server when
starting up.
Disabled:
Does not request an IP address from the DHCP server when
starting up.

Renew
Renews an IP address from the DHCP server.
