5.3.3 Procedure 2 Master Station (Master Unit) Setting
Set the master unit.
Note) The setting for FP2 Multi-wire Link Unit is different.

Selecting a transmission port (transmission line)
Select a transmission port to be used and make the setting.Set the mode selector siwthces "SW3 &
SW4"
Set the mode selector switches "SW1 & SW2" to OFF as
connection example.
Configuring a terminal station
When a slave unit is located at the end of a transmission line, the unit must be configured as a terminal
station.
Setting method
Set the mode selector siwthces "SW3 & SW4".
Set the mode selector switches "SW3 & SW4 to OFF as
connection example.
If the terminal stations are not properly configured, the
ERROR LED on the CPU will be turned on when the power is
turned on.(Self-diagnostic error code E51).Turn on the power
again after making the correnct setting.
Selecting an operation mode during a communication error
Select whether to stop or continue the MEWNET-F control configured by this master unit when a
communication error occurs.Set the mode selector switch "SW7".
