11.7.1 When "MEWNET-F" Communication Error Occurs with I/O Link Unit
If data cannot be transmitted between the I/O link unit and the master unit of FP2/FP2SH/FP3/FP10SH
due to any cause such as the disconnection of transmission cable (a communication error occurs), the
I/O link unit will operate as follows.
1. I/O operation
Mode selector switch
I/O operation
SW3: ON
Maintains the output on FP2/FP2SH/FP3/FP10SH.
→
Maintains the input
relay on FP1.
SW3: OFF
Turns OFF the output on FP2/FP2SH/FP3/FP10SH.
→
Turns OFF the
input relay on FP1.
2. LED indication
COM. LED:
●
(OFF)
3. I/O link error flag of FP1 (R9036)
The occurrence of a communication error can be checked on the FP1 by monitoring the I/O link error
flag R9036.
Special relay name
Status
R9036
0: Normal end
1: Communication error occurs
However, if a communication error occurs in another station, and when the mode selector switch "SW7"
on the master unit is ON, it will not be activated. It will be activated only when the switch "SW7" is OFF.
