Transmission with Destination Monitoring

Select “

Monitor

” on the Touch Panel Display to obtain a dial tone. This feature is called “

On-hook

dialling

”. To monitor the status of a remote station, follow the steps below.

This function is not available when the Function Parameter “

Place original(s).

If the Platen Glass is used, only one page
can be transmitted at a time.

The Monitor screen appears, and you will hear
a dialling tone through the monitor speaker.

Enter the fax number of the
destination.

When the Function Parameter “

destination from the “

”.

When you hear a beep, press the

Start

key.
