The chime speaker can be mounted
in various locations. This installation
uses an existing hole in the metal
brace on the left side of the steering
column.
Step 1
Remove the speaker from the
mounting bracket. Apply the supplied
two-sided tape to the bottom of the
bracket. Using one of the supplied
screws and wing nuts, attach the
bracket to the metal brace.
Remount the speaker on the bracket.
Feed the 2-pin chime plug up to the
radio opening. Secure wiring and
excess cable with zip ties.

Note: Installation of the chime speaker is only required in vehicles equipped with Safety Group (parking sensors).
