3 Returning the ultrasonic generator for repair
WARNING
Before returning the ultrasonic generator for repair, be sure
to disinfect it as described in Chapter 4, “Care, Storage, and
Disposal”. If the ultrasonic generator is not disinfected,
cross-contamination of the surrounding environment may
result.
Olympus will not assume any liabilities for human injuries or
equipment damage caused as a result of servicing or repair
by a person other than the Olympus qualified service
personnel.
When returning the ultrasonic generator for repair, contact Olympus. With the
ultrasonic generator, include a description of the malfunction or damage and the
name and telephone number of the individual at your location who is most
familiar with the problem. Include a repair purchase order.
