allowable by the system

The maximum output time period has
been expired. Re-grasp the tissue and
confirm activation.
U514
Time out error
(SEAL incomplete)
The specified output time period
has expired (maximum output
time: 15 s).
Remove tissue or fluids from jaw and
probe. Re-grasp tissue and confirm
activation.
Cracked probe.
1. Confirm that the probe tip is not
broken. Press the PROBE CHECK
push button, open the grasping
section and confirm the normal
operation. If the probe is broken,
replace the THUNDERBEAT or
SONICBEAT instrument.
Excessive load is applied to the
distal end.
2. Reduce force applied to distal end
of the probe.
Connection of the transducer
with THUNDERBEAT or
SONICBEAT instrument is loose.
3. Check if the THUNDERBEAT or
SONICBEAT instrument and
transducer are connected firmly. If
not, connect them firmly.
Transducer plug is not
connected o the
THUNDERBEAT or ONICBEAT
socket properly.
4. Confirm that the transducer plug is
connected to the THUNDERBEAT
or SONICBEAT socket on the front
panel of the ultrasonic generator. If
not, connect it properly.
Transducer temperature is too
high due to use immediately after
autoclaving.
5. Allow the transducer temperature
cool prior to use.
Transducer temperature is too
high due to continuous output.
6. Stop output until the temperature
cools down.
Transducer malfunction.
7. Replace the transducer.
Probe damage or malfunction.
8. Replace the THUNDERBEAT or
SONICBEAT instrument.
