To create a custom setup for a single element transducer
1.
Connect the single element transducer to the 38DL PLUS (see “Setting Up the
Transducer” on page 63).
2.
Press
[XDCR RECALL]
.
3.
In the menu, select the
CUSTOM SINGLE ELEMENT
.
4.
In the
CUSTOM SINGLE ELEMENT
screen, select the desired custom setup
location (
SE
‑
USER
‑
n
) in which you wish to save the custom setup.
To reduce the number of changes to make to parameter values, you can also select an
existing single element setup with parameter values that are close to the desired
setup.
5.
In the
ACTIVE
screen (see Figure 13-1 on page 222):
a)
Set
DET MODE
to the desired detection mode (see “Detection Modes” on
page 225 for details).

Enter a
SETUP NAME
that describes the transducer and/or the application
for which you create the setup.
c)
Set
MEAS TYPE
to the desired measurement type. The available choices are:
