THE TELEPHONE ANSWERING DEVICE
SYNTHESIZED MESSAGES
Synthesized messages are standard messages that are always present in the memory. These messages
are available in English only and can be enabled or disabled. If enabled, they present the messages that
have been received on the TAD during your absence.
The table below describes the 5 messages available.

Indicates the day on which the message was received

Indicates the time at which the message was received (from 0 to
12 plus the abbreviation AM or PM)

End of messages
Indicates that all the incoming messages have been played

You have no messages
Indicates that no messages have been received
The synthesized messages are enabled from their sub-menu as described in:
Programming chart and
description of the sub-menu: synth. announce.
The day of the week must be programmed from its sub-menu as explained in
Programming chart and
description of the sub-menu: day of week.
The day of the week, as far as incoming messages are concerned, must always be the current one.
Having enabled the synthesized messages, when the
>/II
key is pressed, the TAD will answer as specified
in the table above.
If, for example, messages have been received, the TAD will start by playing synthesized message no. 1
followed by nos. 2 and 3 and then the incoming message will be played. Synthesized messages 2 and 3
will precede each incoming message received on the TAD. When the TAD has finished playing all the
incoming messages, it will play synthesized message no. 4.
