INSTALLATION PARAMETERS
The installation parameters contain data that determine the type of operation of the fax machine, and once
programmed, they rarely need to be changed.
These data consist of the programmed
settings
, such as the language in which the messages are to be
displayed or the type of telephone line on which the machine is used.
The
installation
parameters, in combination with the more frequently modified
configuration
parameters,
provide the basic information which the fax machine needs to operate correctly. The parameters are
already set with a number of values which can subsequently be freely modified by the user according to
requirements.
An updated summary of both the preset values and those set by the user may be printed if required.
In some countries not all of these parameters can be programmed by the user. All the parameters available
and the relative procedures for their modification are indicated in this section.
LIST AND DESCRIPTIONS
The following is a list of the installation parameter menus and sub-menus with a brief description of each.

switchboard).

Lets you select the language in which the messages are to be displayed
and printed.

Allows you to enter the name which you choose to identify the machine
(max. 16 characters.).
