DESCRIPTION:
a)
Allows you to enable or disable ECM (Error Correction Mode) which corrects transmission errors caused
by line interference. This function only works if it is enabled on both the communicating fax machines.
When it is selected the letter “E” will be shown on the display (last character in the first line after the
number or name of the correspondent).
b)
Allows you enable or disable printing of the transmission report. If the third parameter is selected, the
fax machine will only print a transmission report in the case of failed transmission.
c)
Allows you to select the speed at which the fax is transmitted (9600 or 4800 bits per second). 4800 bps
transmission is recommended on lines subject to interference.
d)
Allows you to select the printing position of the sender’s name and number and the time: outside the
text area immediately below the top edge of the sheet or inside the text area slightly lower than in the
previous case.
e)
Allows you to select the type of scanning for the document to be transmitted or copied: standard or fine
resolution.
f)
Adjusts the audible signal volume.
